Children's Wooden Handled Hammer

This stubby children's wooden handled hammer has been designed to be the perfect weight and size for little hands.
It is a heavy hammer (227g) with an extra short handle (approx. 13 cm) which helps children to get sufficient force to hit and drive in nails, despite having low leverage and momentum. The hammer features a round striking surface at the front, and a hemispherical shape at the back. The smooth wooden handle is comfortable and easy to hold. Children often like to hold hammers close to the hammer head and the short length of the handle helps to increase their accuracy.
Particularly suitable for beginners and small children and ideal for introducing woodworking to young children or groups in early years.
