Hultafors Safety Sheath Knife

The Hultafors safety knife comes with a durable and comfortable handle that features a finger guard.  The 2.5mm wide and 88mm long carbon steel blade has a dull point that is designed with the aim of minimising injuries and making the knifes' use safer for children and those with less experience in tool work. 

This knife is great as a first or follow-on knife and is frequently used for skinning sticks, whittling, Forest School activities, crafts, splitting small sticks, outdoor cooking and bushcraft.  
Its bright yellow handle also ensures it's easier to see.

Made from Japanese hardened carbon steel, this knife will require some maintenance to ensure its blade keeps sharp over time.  Ensure the blade is dried after use and wipe with a light oil before storage.
