12" Bahco Bowsaw

This 12" Bahco Bowsaw is a small, handy saw that is light in weight but heavy-duty in action and good for all round use. A good tool for starting out on bowsaw use or for developing skills. 

Features a hand guard and an easy to use mechanism that enables easy blade changing  and tensioning of the blade to maximise cutting potential. Supplied with a dry wood type blade and a Bi-metal hacksaw blade which is useful for cutting metal or as a really safe starter blade for children to learn the bowsaw techniques.

We love these Bahco bowsaws because the blade guard clips onto the blade providing a safer system than many bowsaws have and thereby helping to avoid accidents. Replacement dry wood blades are available.

Ensure that the blade is totally dry before covering it with the guard in storage, wiping the blade with a little light oil before covering and storing will help to minimise rusting and thereby prolong the blade life.
