These Gimlet / Hand Drill tools are just the job for making holes in green / freshly cut wood and are also great for leather and a wide range of other craft or carpentry applications eg. piloting screw holes. (If you're looking to make holes in wooden discs use a Palm Drill instead) 

Gimlets are a traditional carpenters / leatherworkers tool and have been used for centuries!
Easy to use handle at right angles to the working end giving good purchase.
The handle is securely moulded to the drill shank.

Available in two sizes:

4mm drill width (red handled) - total tool length approx 13cms

6mm drill width (blue handled) - total tool length approx 15cms
