Work Bench with Vice

Another lovely woodworking bench but this time with an integral 8” vice fitted to it.  This workbench is 4ft (122cm) wide and made from 100% FSC accredited pine. The vice is fixed to the end of the bench for easy access.  The 8” integral vice has a long turning handle and so is very easy for children to operate independently.

This is a heavy duty, strong and robust workbench that is made in the UK.  The top of the legs are bolted to the worktop and the shelf frame for extra strength but it also has an additional strut and leg brace making it long lasting and really sturdy.  These benches are made specifically for OLR and have been designed based on our experience of woodworking with children.  The 65cm height is very suitable for children to work easily and efficiently.

The chunky pine worktop is durable and hard wearing . If required it can be easily painted / treated in a variety of applications to suit your needs.
