Dig a little deeper...
Take along a magnifying glass and one of our Flower ID guides to identify any other species you may spot on your hunt! Why not repeat the activity in another 1 or 2 weeks time and record any changes you see?

Questions to ask...
Were there more or less flowers than you expected to see today?
Have you seen any flowers today that you've never noticed before?
Which flowers did you find easy to identify? Which were a bit more tricky?

Count numbers of flowers or petals.
More than and less than -> which flower has more petals? Does a snowdrop have less or more petals than a daffodil?
Practice writing plant names.
Talk about colours and shades that they can see.
